FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

World's Largest Slot Machine at the Tropicana Casino & Resort
A First for Atlantic City,  Another Winner for SkyTag

SANTA ROSA, CA May 31, 2000 Mural "spectaculars" are becoming increasingly common sights on buildings in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and other major U.S. cities. The latest such see-thru mural one of the largest produced to date   covers nearly two sides of the Tropicana Casino & Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey and features a winning image of a slot machine. The first building wrap to be installed in Atlantic City, the image is part of the casino resort's new "Powerhouse of Premium Slots" campaign developed by Tropicana's advertising agency, The Media & Marketing Group of Cherry Hill, NJ.  A video news release on the project distributed via satellite reached an audience of over 5 million in cities as far away as Las Vegas and Chicago. "Tropicana is widely recognized for having the biggest variety of slot machines over 3,700 in Atlantic City," says Maureen Siman, executive director of Public Relations at the Tropicana. "Now, we have the world's largest slot machine it's become quite an attraction. The building wrap has had an enormous impact and we're thrilled with the results."

The giant graphics, which cover nearly 70% of the building's exterior, each measure 110' wide by 180' tall and took some 40,000 square feet of perforated vinyl to produce. The image is clearly visible to visitors entering the city via the Expressway or Black Horse Pike, yet from the inside looks like a window tint to guests staying in the West Tower of the Tropicana. Installation was completed in mid-May; the graphics will be up for approximately 6 months.

The creative force behind these building spectaculars is SkyTag Inc. of Beverly Hills, Calif. SkyTag founder Mike McNeilly gained acclaim as the creator of the "Tall Walls" along the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood. For a number of years he imaged the large-scale venues along the Strip for Public Service Ads to promote causes such as the fight against AIDS and violence against children. McNeilly eventually caught the eye of the entertainment industry and has been working closely with all the major studios. SkyTag distinguishes itself from other outdoor media companies by its impressive originality and its emphasis on the close, creative working relationship it  develops with its clients, both the marketing and design teams. A visionary in the field of building murals, McNeilly's spectaculars have dramatically transformed outdoor advertising into stunning, unforgettable cityscapes.

SkyTag has produced the graphics for icons such as the Las Vegas Luxor Hotel & Casino for the new Imax Theater featuring Fantasia 2000 for the Walt Disney Company; the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas in collaboration with HBO for the World Tour of Cher; and for Universal Studios to  promote its movies Mystery Men, EdTV and Babe, Pig in the City. Says Allison Weathers, SkyTag's production manager, "Just like the magician David Copperfield, the spectacular image magically vanishes when viewed from inside the location. The CLEAR FOCUS medium creates an aura of excitement for the venue as well as the guests!"

SkyTag subcontracted the printing of the Tropicana graphics, as well as all the other graphics mentioned above, to Las Vegas-based Adera Corporation, specialists in wide-format digital imaging and the industry's foremost expert on the printing of urban wallscapes and window-scapes. The printing was done on a Vutek 1630 superwide-format inkjet machine on CLEAR FOCUS SuperVue® perforated, pressure-sensitive window graphics film. Complementing its diverse advertising applications, CLEAR FOCUS film acts like a window tint, blocking heat and glare from the sun. It can be screen printed, airbrushed, printed on a wide-format inkjet machine or by electrostatic transfer or thermal transfer. This innovative film has become the clear medium of choice for major advertising and promotional campaigns.
