GES Exposition Services Transforms Moscone
Center
with Stellar Graphics
for RSA Security Conference
SAN FRANCISCO, CA May 3, 2001 The RSA Security Conference 2001 was held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco April 9-12, 2001. More than 250 companies and 15,000 attendees came together for conferences and exhibits concerning e-business and Internet security issues. The event was presented by LKE Productions of San Francisco and produced by GES Exposition Services of South San Francisco.
GES Exposition Services took full advantage of the theme of the show, the expedition of the Pioneer 10 spacecraft headed toward the constellation Taurus, and transformed the Moscone Center into a surreal environment of imagery in orange, lime green and magenta. Using Clear Focus window film on the glass façade of the building, they reproduced the map of our solar system in relation to 14 prominent pulsars and the center of the Milky Way Galaxy. The orange and lime green graphic leaped out at traffic going by, yet from inside the registration lobby visitors could see through the material to the shuttle buses. This was only the second time Moscone Center has allowed the building to be wrapped, the first instance also by GES Exposition Services in June 2000. The success of these two projects has led to the building management's exclusive approval of Clear Focus products for all future similar treatments.
