Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino Promotes
Tiger Jam VI Fundraiser
with
One Way Vision™ Window Graphics
LAS VEGAS, NV April 24, 2003 The sixth annual Tiger Jam was held on April 19, 2003 at the Events Center in the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Las Vegas. The event, which is hosted each year by Tiger Woods, features live and silent auctions whose proceeds are used to support the various programs funded by the Tiger Woods Foundation. To promote Tiger Jam VI, as well as the benefit concert featuring Bon Jovi and the Goo Goo Dolls which followed the fundraiser, the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino commissioned colorful, see-through window graphics measuring 208 feet high by 68 feet wide. The graphics were installed on the face of the Mandalay Bay on March 28 and removed during the week of April 20. Funds from the benefit concert are also earmarked for the Tiger Woods Foundation and children's charities in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. The mission of the Tiger Woods Foundation is "to empower young people to reach their highest potential by initiating and supporting community-based programs that promote the health, education and welfare of all of America's children." Also the site of this year's International Sign Expo by the International Sign Association, the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino contracted the printing of the Tiger Woods Foundation graphics to Las Vegas-based Adera Corporation, the industry's foremost expert on wide-format digital imaging. The printing was done on a VUTEk UltraVu 3360 superwide-format inkjet machine on SuperVue™ perforated window-graphics film produced by Santa Rosa, Calif.-based CLEAR FOCUS Imaging, Inc. This is the same specialty material used for bus wraps and promotional signage in major cities around the world.
