Signs of Community Engagement

Located in the heart of California's wine country, Sonoma County enjoys a rich bounty of foods and beverages produced by local farms, ranches and other businesses. The area is renowned for its world-class restaurants, wineries and spas, and is also home to many premier grocers and farmer's markets.

Several years ago a GO LOCAL campaign was launched to support and strengthen the area's economy by encouraging local buying. As part of the GO LOCAL movement, a BANK LOCAL initiative was established in an effort to move more deposits and other financial resources to locally owned financial institutions. A leading sponsor of this program, Summit State Bank provides underwriting support to over 330 businesses and non-profit organizations in Sonoma County.

As part of its efforts to promote the initiative, Summit State Bank commissioned Eastman Graphics to design and produce see-through window graphics and other signage for the lobby of its headquarters in Santa Rosa, CA. The campaign showcases local businesses and has been so well received that similar window treatments are planned for the bank's other local branches.

Principal Robert Eastman of Eastman Graphics chose Clear Focus ImageVue 65/35 film for the window-graphics component of the project. Thanks to their one-way visibility, perforated window films are the perfect solution for banks and other businesses wishing to promote their products and services while retaining the view outside for their staff and customers.
